BLT Enterprises continues Hollywood expansion with Television Center acquisition
BLT Enterprises has acquired more Hollywood real estate.
The Santa Monica, California-based real estate from has bought Television Center from a private seller. The sale price was $64 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Located at 6311 Romaine Street just south of Santa Monica Boulevard, the 6.4-acre property once served as Technicolor’s headquarters as well as the studio lot for Metro Pictures Corp., which merged into Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1924.
Today the approximately 200,000-square-foot site rents space to a mix of entertainment, media and technology companies as well as a Gold’s Gym. The property includes gated access, production facilities, nearly 800 parking spaces and outdoor amenities.
